Under the CAPA umbrella, membership forms a self-supporting peer network of pharmacists working to develop a sustainable professionally focused future. Peer groups provide an opportunity to review and reflect on practice. Peer  groups meet regularly to discuss case management and clinical problems, with the aim of providing support and improving the performance of individuals within the group.

Rules:

  1. Participation is encouraged when joining a peer group discussion. Full name is required when joining via zoom
  2. Peer review must take place in an environment conducive to the confidentiality of the patients being discussed, and the privacy of the pharmacist whose work is being reviewed.
  3. These peer groups are intended to be a support network. Owing to this, discussions within peer groups are confidential and are not to be shared with anyone outside of the Peer group including professional bodies (i.e PCNZ, PSNZ etc.)
  4. At least three members will be present and participating
  5. The group discusses cases, clinical challenges or situations with the aim of improving clinical performance

By attending Peer group meetings you are agreeing to follow the above rules. Failure to comply with Peer group rules may result in termination of membership.
